Craft Society Gothenburg (Föreningen Göteborgsslöjd) is a non-profit organization formed on April 1st, 1986. Its purpose is to, through presentations, training and exchange of experience
- promote innovation
- disseminate knowledge about crafts
- preserve and transmit our culture heritage to future generations
- communicate quality awareness to the society´s members
We meet about ten times a year to discuss inter alia future activities.
Sometimes a speaker or a craftsman is invited to demonstrate their craft.
We arrange courses, exhibitions and lectures and once a year we take a trip together.
Special liability groups are responsible for courses, exhibitions and marketing and a contact person för each craft discipline available to the members for discussion and advice.
